The Audi 90 quattro Racing celebrated great success in American races in 1989. With a 2.2-liter inline 5-cylinder turbo engine with over 700 hp and the 4WD quattro system, it had superior traction. It was wider than the road car, its body had a large rear wing and carbon and aluminum were largely used for its lightweight body parts.

The 58744 TAMIYA 1:10 scale model is based on the proven TT-02 chassis. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer with the countless optional tuning parts. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbones and suspension struts on all four wheels ensure a true-to-life driving experience and optimum traction. The underside of the chassis has an extra smooth design and the battery compartment accommodates all standard battery types. The wheel drivers, which have attached dummy brake disks, are a visual highlight.
Required accessories: Remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger, paint for bodywork (PS-XX TAMIYA)
