Faster / further / higher / more broken? Is that necessary?
The motors from the Japanese tuning company Pinebeach Raceway from the Sukoyaka Tuned series are designed to have fun with moderate power consumption and moderate torque.
These engines achieve almost the same top speed compared to a 540 engine. With less torque, however, the models are much easier to drive. This makes maneuvers possible for less experienced drivers as well as advanced drivers, which are difficult to achieve with the “big” motors. If you want to use these motors in models with a 540 motor, you need an adapter motor plate (e.g. #TGX-121) and an adapter motor shaft from 2.3 to 3.17mm (e.g. #SGE-42B). Also ideal for the many vintage models or re-releases from Tamiya!
Maintenance tip: Every 10-20 batteries, a small drop of smooth-running oil should be applied to the motor bearings. This ensures that these motors last a particularly long time!

• Operating voltage: 6.0 to 7.2V
• Speed at 6.0V: 16,800 rpm

By the way:
The so-called “Chonmage” racing format was invented for this purpose, which runs over 3 laps in last-man-standing mode. The winner starts from the back of the grid in the next race, the last one from the front. The focus here is on fun and sociability rather than lap times or performance!
